A study on the current status and influencing factors of benefit finding among family caregivers in ovarian cancer patients

Abstract：Objective To understand the status of benefit finding among family caregivers in ovarian cancer patients and analyze its in-fluencing factors.Methods A total of 204 caregivers of ovarian cancer patients who were hospitalized in a general hospital in Qingdao from January to September 2022 were selected as the research objects.General data questionnaire,Chinese version of Benefit Finding Scale(BFS-C),Zarit Caregiver Burden Inventory(ZBI),Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC),and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS)were used to conduct the questionnaire investigation.Results The total score of benefit finding among family caregivers in ovarian cancer patients was(65.08±10.77).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that caregivers age,education level,caregiver burden,psychological resilience and social support were the influencing factors of benefit finding among family caregivers in ovarian cancer patients(P＜0.05).Conclusion The benefit finding among family caregivers in ovarian cancer patients is at a moderate level.Nurses should start with influencing factors,develop targeted and rational interventions for caregivers,so as to promote their benefit finding level,improve the quality of care,then improve the prognosis of patients.
