Study on the relationship between job adjustment disorder of new nurses and multiple leadership styles of head nurses

Abstract:Objective To explore the correlation between job adjustment disorder of new nurses and multiple leadership styles of head nurses,and analyze the influencing factors,so as to provide reference for formulating relevant interventions.Methods The general data ques-tionnaire,Work Attitude Scale and Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire(MLQ)were used to investigate 337 new nurses from 2 Grade A hos-pitals in Tianjin and Hebei Province.Results The score of job adjustment disorder was(24.44±6.21)and the score of multiple leadership style was(69.97±11.02),between which had negative correlation(r=-0.742,P<0.01).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that there were the main influencing factors of job adjustment disorder of new nurses,such as education level,marital status,family residence,personality type,personalized care and passive exception management(P<0.05).Conclusion New nurses have a high level of job adjustment disorder.Nursing managers should explore the influencing factors of job adjustment disorder and put forward to feasible countermeasures,so as to provide theoretical reference for reducing the level of job adjustment disorder and ensuring nursing quality and safety management.
