Study on the application effect of the concept of accelerated rehabilitation surgery in patients with total laryngectomy

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of the implementing accelerated rehabilitation surgery care in patients undergoing total lar-yngectomy.Methods Cluster sampling and historical control study methods were used in the study.A total of 60 patients who had undergone total laryngectomy in the department of otorhinolaryngology in a Grade Ⅲ Class A hospital from January 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the control group,and 60 patients who had undergone total laryngectomy in the department from July 2019 to December 2020 were enrolled as the intervention group.The control group was given routine nursing,and the intervention group developed and implemented accelerated reha-bilitation nursing program based on the control group.The scores of pain and anxiety,recovery after surgery,postoperative complications and nursing satisfaction of the two groups at each time point were compared.Results Compared with the control group,the pain score and anxiety score in the study group at each time point were significantly lower(P＜0.01),the postoperative recovery of the study group was significantly better(P＜0.01),the incidence of postoperative complications was significantly lower,and the nursing satisfaction was significantly higher(P＜0.05).Conclusion The concept of accelerated rehabilitation surgery has obvious advantages in the postoperative rehabilitation of pa-tients after total laryngectomy,which can significantly speed up the rehabilitation process of patients after total laryngectomy.Meanwhile,the hospitalization time can be shortened,and the total cost of hospitalization can be reduced.
