Application of circular distribution method to analyze the rule of delivery time of vaginal delivery multiparas

Abstract：Objective With the adjustment of birth policy,to explore and analyze the changes of multiparas'delivery information and whether there is a central trend of delivery time,so as to provide basis for midwifery human resource allocation.Methods Convenience sam-pling was used to collect the delivery information of 2 808 multiparous with vaginal delivery in a 3A-level hospital in Beijing from January 1,2013 to December 31,2022.Circular distribution method was used to analyze whether there was a central trend in the delivery time of multip-aras.Results The age of multiparas was 22～54(33.74±3.80)years old.The percentage of elderly multiparas was on the rise.The delivery time of multiparas was mainly concentrated in the period of 11 to 12 o'clock(P≤0.001).Conclusion With the adjustment of the birth poli-cy,the percentage of multipara and elderly multipara is increasing year by year.Advanced age and multiparity are the factors leading to ad-verse delivery outcomes,which will pose a threat to the health and safety of mothers and infants.Therefore,higher requirements are put forward for the ability of midwives,and training exercises need to be strengthened to reserve midwives.
