Latent profile analysis of nurses'career resilience

Abstract:Objective To explore the potential categories of nurses'career resilience and analyze the influencing factors.Methods A total of 492 nurses from 2 tertiary class A hospitals in Shandong Province were investigated by the general data questionnaire,Career Resilience Scale of Nurses,the Role Breadth Self-Efficacy Scale,the Proactive Personality Scale,the Feedback Seeking Behavior Scale.Latent profile analysis and ordered multiple Logistic regression were used to explore the potential categories of career resilience and ana-lyze its influencing factors.Results The career resilience was divided into 3 potential categories:high level(5.69%),moderate level(33.33%)and low level(60.98%).Age,years of working,employment way,the role breadth self-efficacy,proactive personality and feedback seeking behavior were factors affecting the potential categories of career resilience in nurses(P<0.01).Conclusion The classification char-acteristics of nurses'career resilience are obvious.Nursing managers should implement targeted interventions based on influencing factors to improve their career resilience level.
