Effect of nursing emergency management in the treatment of 226 patients with Dengue Fever

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of nursing emergency management in the treatment of patients with sudden Dengue Fever.Methods Nursing emergency management was implemented in 226 patients with sudden Dengue Fever, which included setting up a special treatment ward, forming the nursing emergency team, performing strict isolation measures and giving humanistic care timely.The theoretical and operational grades of nurses and diseases related knowledge of patients were compared before and after.Results Totally, 226 patients had been cured and discharged, and no cross-infection occuied.The Dengue prevention and treatment knowledge, first aid theory, chest compression and simple respirator usage in nurses were significantly higher after nursing emergency management (P<0.01). The Dengue Fever related knowledge in patients had increased after nursing emergency management (P<0.01).Conclusion Scientific and effective nursing emergency management is the key to the successful treatment of Dengue Fever.
