Study on the status and influencing factors of knowledge-attitude-practice of ICU-acquired weakness of nurses in ICU

Abstract：Objective To investigate ICU nurses' knowledge-attitude-practice status of Intensive Care Unit acquired weakness (ICU-AW), and analyze the influencing factors.Methods A self-designed ICU-AW knowledge-attitude-practice situation questionnaire was used to investigate 167 ICU nurses in 4 tertiary general hospitals.Results The average knowledge score of ICU nurses' acquired weakness was (21.41±4.09), the average attitude score was (30.30±4.11), and the average behavior score was (26.07±4.92).Multivariate analysis showed that education level and profession title were the main influencing factors of ICU nurses' knowledge, with age being the main factor of attitude, and profession title and years of ICU working time mattering most for practice.Conclusion The ICU nurses' knowledge-attitude-practice scores on ICU-AW are particularly low.Education on ICU-AW should be strengthened to improve the clinical application of preventing ICU-AW.
