Investigation and analysis on the quality of life in patients with tumor hyperhidrosis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the quality of life and analyze its related factors in patients with tumor hyperhidrosis,in order to provide reference to improve patients＇quality of life.Methods A general information questionnaire,Hyperhidrosis Disease severity scale,and cancer patients＇life quality scale were used to investigate 431 cancer patients.Results In total of 431 cases,the score of quality of life was 3～4 points (50.12%) and 1～2 points (49.88%).The patients who had high scores of hyperhidrosis had significant difference in five func?tional areas (body,character,cognitive,emotional and social functions),overall health,shortness of breath and fatigue,insomnia,poor appe?tite,constipation than low quality of life (P＜ 0.01),while had no difference in pain,nausea and vomiting,diarrhea and difficult economic (P＞0.05).Conclusion The severity of tumor hyperhidrosis should be paid attention by medical staff and adopt effective interventions to re?duce patients＇discomfort and improve their quality of life.
