The application and effects of decision tree analysis in nursing performance evaluation

Abstract：Objective Explore the establishment and practice of decision tree analysis for nursing performance,and build a scientific, convenient,and fair method for nursing performance evaluation. Methods A total of 90 index data representing quantity,quality,efficiency, and performance were taken as the comprehensive analysis objects of nursing performance,and found the difference variable in first optimal choice among those 90 index variables with the help of decision tree analysis.Based on it,divided all the nursing units into different clusters, and then completed the entire hospital＇s care unit classification accordingly,providing scientific classification and evaluation methods for per?formance evaluation and bonus distribution.Results After analyzing the satisfaction of the application of decision tree analysis from the as?pects of objectivity,applicability,fairness,acceptability,efficiency,and total satisfaction,it found that satisfaction rate was gradually on the rise,with the total satisfaction rate increasing from 72.41% to 98.28%.Conclusion Applying decision tree analysis in nursing performance can effectively improve nurses＇satisfaction rate with nursing performance evaluation,which is an effective scientific evaluation method for per?formance management and bonus distribution.
