Research on the status and influencing factors of work engagement in community nurses

Abstract：Objective To understand the work engagement of community nurses and explore the influencing factors of work engage-ment.Methods Totally, 410 community nurses in Beijing were investigated by using work engagement scale and work pressure scale. Results The total score of work engagement of community nurses in Beijing was (3.10±1.50),and work pressure was (2.25±0.52).Multi-ple linear regression showed that working years and work pressure have influence on community nurses' work engagement ( P<0. 01 or P<0.05).Conclusion The level of work engagement of community nurses is medium in Beijing.Community nursing manager should clarify the influencing factors on work engagement and take effective measures to relieve work pressure so as to improve the work engagement of com-munity nurses.
