Study on the level of hope and its influencing factors in patients with chronic heart failure

Abstract：Objective To investigate the level of hope and its influencing factors in patients with chronic heart failure so as to provide reference for improving their hope and quality of life.Methods Totally,171 patients with chronic heart failure were investigated by using general information questionnaire,Herth Hope Index,Family APGAR Index and Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire.Results The total score of the level of hope in patients with chronic heart failure was (33.68±4.29).The score of positive action was (12.20±1.64),the score of intimate reationship keeping others was (11.06± 1.52) and attitude towards reality and future was (10.43±1.91).The influencing factors of the level of hope in patients with chronic heart failure included working condition,heart function classification,family care,faeing coping mode and resignation coping.Conclusion The level of hope in patients with chronic heart failure is on the medium level.Medical staff shall consider factors that affect the level of hope and carry out targeted psychological intervention correspondingly,so as to effectively improve the level of hope.
