A review of multidimensional scales for adult pain assessment

Abstract：The paper summarized the main research progress on the multidimensional scales of pain assessment from the universal pain assessment scale and the specific pain assessment scale.The paper introduced the using methods,reliability and applicable population of pain evaluation multidimensional scales.The paper discussed the advantages and disadvantages of each scale and the problems that need to be paid attention to.On the basis,the research of pain behavior evaluation was prospected in order to provide reference for medical staff to select the appropriate pain assessment scale to entirely and accurately.
