Study about the influence of death attitude on willingness of organ donation among college students

Abstract：Objective To study the present situation and influencing results of death attitude on willingness of organ donation among college students.Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 805 sophomores from three universities in Chongqing.Results The highest score was Neutral acceptance of death with (3.85±0.74),and the willingness of organ donation was (2.23±0.82).The death attitude,fear of death,death avoidance,neutral acceptance of death associated significantly with organ donation(P＜0.01).College students willingness of organ donation was affected by fear of death neutral acceptance of death voluntary blood donation.Conclusion Death attitude directly influenced the college students' willingness of organ donation and scientific death education can help to set up their correct values and outlook on death,which played an important role to improve their willingness of organ donation and promote college students to join organ donation.
