Abstract:Objective To investigate the quality of life of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD),and to explore the mediating effect of mindfulness psychological trait on self-perceived burden (SPB) and quality of life (QOL).Method A total of 200 patients were recruited and investigated by the Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ),Self-perceived Burden Scale (SPBS)and COPD-Quality of Life (COPD-QOL).Results Mindfulness psychological trait and SPB had a direct impact on the quality of life in patients with COPD,and the mindfulness psychological trait played a mediation role,which affects the QOL indirectly.Conclusion High-level mindfulness psychological trait can reduce SPB of patients and improve the quality of life.Medical staff can improve the mindfulness level of patients according to different personality characteristics,social background and support system,so as to improve the quality of life of patients.
