Application of training on-job mode in improving learning adaptability in Traditional Chinese Medicine among junior-college nursing students

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of training on-job mode in improving learning adaptability in Traditional Chinese Medicine among junior-college nursing students.Methods A total of 180 college nursing students were randomly divided into control group(n=90) and experimental group(n=90).The control group used the traditional teaching mode,the experimental group received training on-job mode in Traditional Chinses Medicine,including establishing training teacher,setting up training content and implementing training program.The ex?amination scores,learning adaptability and satisfaction in two groups were compared after training.Results The theory and skills scores in experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group.After the implementation of training mode,the average scores and 5 dimensions scores of learning adaptability in experimental group were higher than those of the control group.The satisfaction of experimental group was higher than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Conclusion The training on-job mode is helpful to improve learning adaptability of Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing students,enhance the satisfaction for teaching,and contribute to improving the quality of students.
