Abstract:Objective To explore cognition,intention and barriers relations in tumor specialized nurses reporting nursing adverse e?vents to understand the interaction between their cognition and behavior,so as to decrease the factors of reporting barriers and promote their reporting intention.Methods Using nurse adverse events reporting cognitive questionnaire,the reporting intention questionnaire and the re?port barrier questionnaire to investigate 623 oncology nurses and the linear regression and path analysis to analyze the relations among three variables.Results The score of reporting cognition,intention and barriers were(3.31±0.38),(3.02±0.75)and(3.57±0.50).The path a?nalysis results showed that the reporting cognition and intention had the directly influence on reporting barrier(P<0.05).Conclusion The tumor specialized nurses who had higher level of reporting cognition would have higher reporting intention and lower reporting of nursing ad?verse events.The hospital manager should strengthen targeted reporting cognition and intention training of nursing adverse events,in order to improve nursing safety cultural atmosphere in hospital,and ensure nursing quality.
