Study on the status of occupational burnout in pediatric nurses

Abstract：Objective To investigate the status of pediatric nurses ' occupational burnout and analyze its influencing factors. Method A total of 738 pediatric nurses were investigated with the basic information questionnaire and Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS).Results Pediatric nurses suffered high level of occupational burnout.The main influencing factors of peqiatric nurses oc-cupational burnout were title,direct contact,working seniority,departments and night shifts.Conclusion The occupational burnout in pediat-ric nurses is serious.Mangers should give targeted intervention to reduce the occupational burnout of pediatric nurses,which can stabilize nursing team.
