Study on the behavior intention and influencing factors of natural childbirth in urban pregnant women

Abstract：Objective To investagate the behavior intention and the influencing factors of natural childbirth among pregnant women in urban,and to provide the basis of health education for natural childbirth.Methods Totally,658 pregnant women were investigated for natural childbirth intention,and the influencing factors were analyzed.Results A total of 579(87.99％)pregnant women planned to choose natural childbirth,while 79(12.01％)pregnant women planned to choose cesarean section.Education background of husband,whether the pregnant women have learned to promote natural childbirth,confidence in the natural childbirth of pregnant women and second baby plan were the in-fluencing factors of natural childbirth in urban pregnant women.Conclusion Natural childbirth was the first choice in most urban pregnant women.We should further strengthen the knowledge of pregnant women with natural childbirth and the confidence on natural childbirth,focus on families with low education and no second baby plan to further increase the rate of natural childbirth.
