The development of the competency evaluation index system for neonatal specialized nurses using Delphi method

Abstract：Objective To construct the competency evaluation index system for neonatal specialized nurses,so as to provide reference for training and evaluation of neonatal specialized nurses.Methods The Delphi method was used to carry out two rounds of questionnaire consultation on 19 experts.The first round of expert consultation revised the index,and the second round of consultation increased the weight of each index.Results The two rounds of authority coefficients of expert were 0.881 and 0.918 respectively,and the coordination coefficients of first and second consultation were 0.257 and 0.320 respectively.The competency evaluation index system included 6 first-level indicators, 16 secondary indicators and 62 third-level indicators.Conclusion The competency evaluation index system is reliable and valid,which can provide references for the training and evaluation of neonatal specialized nurses.
