Nursing risk management effect on patients of acute attack of bronchial asthma combined with acute upper respiratory tract infection

Abstract：Objective To investigate the influence of nursing risk management on patinets of acute attack of bronchial asthma combined with acute upper respiratory tract infection.Methods A total of 182 cases with bronchial asthma combined with acute upper respiratory tract infection,who were divided into the experimental group(n =94) and the control group(n =88) according to the order of admission.The control group received general caring in the respiratory department while the experimental group received nursing risk management which included forming risk management group,building risk management manual and implementing corresponding strategy.Results The experimental group's incidence of nursing risk events and nursing complaint were significantly lower than those of the control group (P ＜0.05),the nursing satisfaction and nursing quality were significantly better than those of the control group (P ＜0.01 or P ＜0.05).Conclusion Nursing risk management can efficiently reduce the incidence of nursing defects of patients with bronchial asthma combined with acute upper respiratory tract infection,decrease nursing complaint rate and improve patients'satisfaction of nursing,which is worthy of being generalized.
