Abstract:Objective To provide evidence-based nursing programs on ambulation possibility for the patients with deep venous thrombosis of lower extremity in acute stage after surgery of thyroid carcinoma,so as to provide safer, and higher quality care to the patients. Methods According to the patients' medical history and symptoms, the nursing problems were proposed.Searching literatures to obtain evidence and developing nursing programs based on the combination of evidence-based medicine principles (best research evidence, clinical experience and the combination of the patient's will). Results Eventually 2 guidelines and 10 randomized controlled trial articles were included.Evidence showed that the patients could get out of bed to walk as long as they could tolerate the situation with acute deep venous thrombosis of lower limb on the basis of full formal anticoagulant, excluding special types of clots.Based on the results of evidence, the doctor orders, combined with the patient's will, the patients started walking at the 4th day after diagnosis of deep venous thrombosis.Pulmonary embolism didn't occur, and thrombosis wasn't progressing after their activity. The patients' lower limb swelling and pain did not aggravate. Conclusion Evidence-based practice with high quality evidence and personalized care for thyroid carcinoma in patients with acute deep venous thrombosis of lower limbs after operation can reduce duration of bed rest and hospitalization, and health care costs.
