Study on the nurse-nurse relationship and its influencing factors

Abstract:Objective To explore the status and influencing factors of nurse-nurse relationship.Methods A survey was conducted in 372 nurses of 2 general 3-level hospitals through the general information questionnaire and nurse-nurse relationship scale.Results The score of nurse-nurse relationship of nurses was (77.88-± 12.91),which was at the middle level.The influencing factors of nurse-nurse relationship were age,education background,marriage and clinical departments(P < 0.01 or P < 0.05),which could explain the 41.40% variance of the level of nurse-nurse relationship.Conelusion The nurse-nurse relationship under current health care situation is at the moderate level,and can be influenced by age,education background,marriage and clinical departments.Hospital management office and nursing administrators should develop targeted interventions to establish a good relationship between nurses and nurses based on the influencing factors of nurse-nurse relationship,to stable the nursing team and improve the nursing quality.
