Abstract：Objective To analyze the effect of value stream mapping optimizing the circuit of caesarean section,in order to decrease the waste of time and improve working efficiency during the circuit of caesarean section. Methods To build a research group and report times spent every parts of caesarean section. We drew the value stream mapping and optimized the projects based on the analysis of time information to perfect the circuit of caesarean section. Results After intervention,the total time of circuit and parts,the non value - added time(NVA)and the waiting time were decreased (P < 0. 01). Conclusion Value stream mapping has a significant effect on optimization of the circuit of caesarean section and improve nurses' working efficiency.
