The application of cooperative learning in practice teaching of health assessment course for undergraduate students

Abstract：Objective To explore the teaching effects of cooperative learning in practice teaching of health assessment course for undergraduate students. Methods To set up the control group with 56 undergraduate students and the experimental group with 47 undergraduate students. The experimental group used cooperative learning,including four steps of skill learning interaction and feed back,teaching and promotion,skill test and evaluation. The control group used tra-ditional teaching methods. At the end of the course,we compared the average skills test scores,the terminal theory test scores,and satisfaction of cooperative learn-ing. Results There were not statistically significant in enhancing independent learning ability,there were statistically significant differences of the skills test scores,and promoting learning effect between the experimental group and control group(P < 0. 05). Conclusion Cooperative learning can improve the teaching quality in practice teaching of health assessment course,improve undergraduate nursing students communicating ability and study effect.
