Application of standardized patient in clinical practice teaching of undergraduate nursing students in department of gynecology

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of teachers standardized patients in clinical practice teaching of undergraduate nursing students in department of gynecology. Methods Using the method of non - synchronous control,we selected the undergraduate nursing students who were practicing in our hospital from January 2016 to June 2017 as the observation group. We recruited high - grade nurses as standardized patients for tutoring chinical proutice of un-dergraduate nursing students. After the pre - class study,theoretical training,situational practice,feedback and discussion,and then practice and assessment of five stages of training undergraduate nursing students,clinical work ability at the end of the internship,the theoretical achievement,operating results,clinical nurs-ing ability and teaching satisfaction of students in the intervention group and interns from June 2014 to December 2015 as the control group were evaluated. Results The theoretical achievement,operating results,clinical nursing ability and teaching satisfaction of the students in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P < 0. 01). Conclusion The use of teachers standardized patient - assisted clinical teaching can improve the theoretical achieve-ment,operating results,clinical nursing ability and teaching satisfaction.
