Abstract:Objective To investigate self - efficacy and related factors of rehabilitation exercise in elderly patients after total hip replacement. Methods A total of 107 elder patient after total hip replacement were investigated with the rehabilitation exercise self - efficacy,the hip joint function and the perception of exercise benefits/ barriers. Results The total score of rehabilitation exercise self - efficacy was(65. 21 ± 18. 20). The Harris hip score,the percep-tion of exercise benefits,the perception of exercise barriers,and the patients age were the main related factors of rehabilitation exercise self - efficacy. Conclusion The rehabilitation exercise self - efficacy of elderly patients after total hip replacement needs to be improved,and those with poor hip joint function, misunderstanding of exercise benefits and barriers,and the older should be concerned. Taking intervention measures to improve the joint function,and conducting health education of exercise benefits will be good for aged patients after hip arthroplasty.
