Research of the current situation and influencing factors of patient safety culture cognition among pediatric nurses

Abstract：Objective To investigate the current situation of patient safety culture cognition among pediatric nurses and explore its influencing factors. Methods A total of 273 pediatric nurses were investigated by general data questionnaire and hospital patient safety assessment scale. Results The total score of patient safety culture cognition among pediatric nurses was(3. 11 ± 0. 39),in a moderate level. Educational background,professional title,working years and the nature of employment were the main influencing factors of pediatric nurses'safety culture cognition. Conclusion There is a great room for improving the safe-ty culture cognition among pediatric nurses,nursing managers should adopt specific management measures to ensure patient safety.
