A study of safety attitude status and influencing factors of nephrology nurses

Abstract:Objective To investigate the safety attitude status of nephrology nurses,to explore the relevant factors that affect the safety attitude,and to pro-vide the basis for the implementation of the special nursing safety education. Methods Totaly,202 nephrology nurses of three hospitals in Nanjing were investi-gated using safety attitude questionnaire. Results The mean score of safety attitude among nephrology nurses was (4. 47 ± 0. 30),the lowest score for stress per-ception was (4. 04 ± 0. 79). Age and nursing units were the influencing factors of the nurses' safety attitude. Conclusion Nursing managers need to focus on senior nurses safety attitudes of nurses in different nursing units,should ease the pressure in the work combined with the characteristics of the work area,in order to create a positive team atmosphere,finally to enhance the satisfaction of nursing staff.
