The clinical effect of MaoShi comprehensive nursing intervening in constipation of patients after stroke

Abstract:Objective To discuss the clinical effect of MaoShi comprehensive nursing,including guiding patients to drink mild saline and acupointing mas-sage in intervening patients after stroke. Methods The total of 240 constipation patients after stroke were divided into the observation group and the control group. Two groups received routine nursing while observation group drank 200 ml mild saline and implementing acupoint massage at daily MaoShi. Finally,the scores of constipation,stool consistency and quality of life between two groups were compared before and after intervention. Results After intervention,observa-tion group and control group had statistically significant difference in scores of constipation,stool consistency and quality of life (P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion According to the theory of midnight - moon and ebb - flow doctrine,the MaoShi nursing intervention of drinking weak brine combined acupoint massage can effectively improve constipation degree and quality of life of patients after stroke which had good clinical application value.
