Abstract：Objective To evaluate the impact of hierarchical transport mode in the intra - hospital transport adverse events of critically ill patients. Methods The risk of transporting was divided into low - risk group,mild - risk group and high - risk group. Then the transport personnel and transport equip-ment were different according to the level of their risk grades. Results The overall adverse events incidence was reduced after the application of hierarchical transport mode. The incidence of adverse events of patient related and transport personnel related reduced dramatically (P < 0. 01). Conclusion The hierarchi-cal transport mode can reduce the incidence of adverse events significantly,and improve the safety of intra - hospital transport on critically ill patients.
