The effect of couple-based psychological intervention on negative emotion and life quality in patients with hysterectomy

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of couple - based psychological intervention on negative emotion and life quality in total hysterectomy patients. Methods Totally,192 total hysterectomy patients were selected and divided into the control group and the intervention group with 96 cases in each. The control group was given routine nursing and health education,the observation group was given couple - based psychological intervention including establishing psychologi-cal intervention group,assessing cognitive level of the couples,implementing couple - based cognitive intervention and health education. Results The scores of somatization,interpersonal relation,depression,anxiety dimension of SCL - 90 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0. 01). The total score of Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI),the scores of physical health dimension,psychological health dimension,social function dimension of General Quality of Life Inventory (GQOLI)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0. 01). Conclusion Couple - based psy-chological intervention can relieve the negative emotion of total hysterectomy patients,and improve their sexual function and life quality.
