Study on the occupational stress of urban community nurses based on factor analysis

Abstract:Objective To analyze the main factors influencing the occupational stress of community nurses in Zhejiang province. Methods A question-naire survey was conducted on 334 community nurses from 134 community health service institutions in Zhejiang Province,using the factor analysis method to ex-tract the principal components. Result The six main factors influencing the occupational stress of community nurses were extracted,and the accumulative vari-ance contribution was 63. 025% . According to the contribution rate,the six factors affecting the occupational stress of community nursing staff were:social identi-ty,work content and intensity,salary and welfare,working environment,nurse - patient relationship,and colleague relationship. Conclusion Community health institutions should pay attention to nurses' occupational stress and mental health.
