Research on the influence of scientific research ability on the research self-efficacy of nursing staff

Abstract：Objective To understand the status of the scientific research ability and research self-efficacy of nursing staff,and to explore the relationship between them,in order to provide theoretical guidance for improving the scientific research ability of nursing staff.Methods The general information questionnaire,scientific research ability scale and research self-efficacy scale were used to conducted on 568 clinical nurses from a 3A-level hospital in Harbin.Results Nursing scientific research ability score was (42.57 ± 19.58),self-efficacy score was (101.73 ± 30.56).Education background,professional title,computer software operation,the artical writing were influencing factors of research self-efficacy (P ＜ 0.01 or P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Nursing managers should take effective measures to stimulate nurses to carry out scientific research activities,improve the overall scientific research ability and the level of self-efficacy,and lav the foundation for the development of clinical nursing research.
