Application of information-motivation-behavior skill model in continuous nursing of patients with diabetic foot

Abstract:Objective To explore the application of information-motivation-behavior skill model in continuous nursing of patients with diabetic foot.Methods Totally,200 cases of hospitalized patients with diabetic foot were divided into the observation group (n =100) and control group (n =100),control group received routine nursing care and follow-up skills,observation group received information-motivation-behavior skill model,including the establishment of intervention group,and information,motivation and behavior skills intervention and follow-up on patients.Results The scores of self-management behaviors and quality of life in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05).Conclusion The intervention of information-motivation-behavior skill model can effectively improve self-management ability and quality of life in patients with diabetic foot.
