The statue and influencing factors of willingness engaged in old-age care among nursing student of technical secondary school

Abstract：Objective To understand the statue of willingness engaged in old-age care among nursing intern student of technical secondary school,and to analyze its influencing factors.Methods General information questionnaire and old-age care cognitive questionnaire were conducted in a total of 429 nursing students.Results The average score of old-age care cognition was (3.58 ± 0.36),which was at a medium level.The major influencing factors were gender,formal establishment,public institution and career development cognition.Conclusion The cognition status of engage in old-age care among nursing student of technical secondary school was at medium level.Government,society,civil society organization should provide more supporting measures for old-age care professional nursing personnel training,so as to enhance their willingness engaged in old-aged care and promote its service quality.
