The application of objective structured clinical examination in the clinical practice evaluation of nursing managers

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) in clinical practice evaluation of nursing managers.Methods A total of 206 nursing managers were selected and received 6 local evaluations according to estabish OSCE.The scores,the difficulty coefficient and the distinction degree of each sites were evaluated.Results The difficulty coefficient was 0.169,the discrimination degree was 0.431,and the score of each test station was between 86.32％ and 73.93 ％.Which truly showed the level of nursing managers,and basically gained the assessment goal.Conclusion The OSCE could objectively and effectively evaluate the nursing managers'professional quality and ability,and improve the level of team cooperation,which is practical.
