The exploration of cluster intervention used in the management of multidrug-resistant bacteria infection of neurosurgery

Abstract：Objective To investigate the application effect of cluster intervention on the infections of multidrug-resistant bacteria in neurosurgery department.Methods Implementation of cluster intervention,included enforcing the knowledge training of hospital infections prevention,strictly conducting the measures of sterilization and isolation,implementing the respiratory tract nursing management by a special nurse,practicing the hand sanitary management,preventing other parts to against infections,strengthening monitoring and rigorously managing for relevant persons.Results After implementing the cluster intervention,the incidence rates of hospital infections and multidrug-resistant bacteria infections decreased (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion The application of cluster intervention used in neurosurgical units can effectively decrease the incidence rates of Multidrug-Resistant Organism (MDRO) infections and improve the management quality of hospital infections.
