Application of student standardized patient on integrated skill teaching among junior-college nursing students

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of student standardized patient on integrated skill teaching among junior-college nursing students.Method There were 221 and 229 junior-college nursing students were selected as control group and experiment group separately.The control group received traditional teaching method.The experiment group received student standardized patient teaching method.Before teaching,we established the student standardized patient task group,recruited student standardized patients members,and wrote the training script.Then the experiment group learned theory,situational practiced,reported and discussed,re-practiced and had exams.Results The theoretical and skill exams scores,critical thinking scores of junior-college nursing students in experiment group were higher than those of students in control group (P ＜ 0.01 or P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The teaching mode of student standardized patient can promote nursing education close to clinical nursing,improve the students'critical thinking and the teaching effects,which is a practical feasible and adaptable teaching method.
