The relevant research among chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting and the psychological state, quality of life in patients with gynecological oncology

Abstract:Objective To understand the degree of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting(CINV),the psychological state and the quality of life in patients with gynecological,in order to provide theoretical foundation for clinical intervention.Methods Totally,136 patients with gynecological oncology who received treatment of chemotherapeutic drugs which had moderate or highly risk of inducing nausea and vomiting were investigated by nausea and vomiting severity classification table,State-Trait Anxiety Inventory and Functional Living Index emesis.Results There was different severity of nausea and vomiting in all patients with gynecological oncology,and the most obvious were level Ⅰ (35.29%) and level Ⅱ (44.85%).The score of psychological status was(58.16 ± 10.05) and vomit Functional Living Index was(63.71 ± 20.33).The severity of nausea and vomiting had positively correlation with patients'psychological status and quality of life (P<0.01).Conclusion Patients with gynecological oncology had different severity of nausea and vomiting during chemotherapy,which seriously affect the quality of life and psychological status,medical personnel need to strengthen the assessment of CINV in clinical practice and explore the effective intervention measures,in order to improve patients' quality of life.
