Effect of nursing work environment on immersion of clinical nurses

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of nursing work environment on immersion of clinical nurses,to provide basis for nursing managers promoting the work enthusiasm and job immerse.Methods Totally,600 clinical nurses were surveyed by the Practice Environment Scale of the Nursing Work Index and Nurses Working Immersion Questionnaire.Results The average score of work environment was (3.04 ± 0.35),the average score of job immersion was (4.04 ± 0.53).The influencing factors of clinical nurses'job immersion were hospital level,frequency of night shift,high quality nursing service foundation,ability of nursing managers and leadership,and nurses'participation in hospital affairs (P ＜ 0.01 or P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Nursing managers should pay attention to create a positive work environment,to improve the level of work immersion among clinical nurses and the quality of nursing.
