A study on the differences between different hierarchies nurses' professional identity and occupation benefit

Abstract:Objective To investigate the current situation and differences of professionalidentity and occupation benefit of nurses at different hierarchies in a 3A-level hospital.Methods The nurses'professional identity scale and the nurses’ occupational benefit questionnaire were used to investigate 432 nurses.Results The total score of nurses’ professional identity was (101.72 ± 19.37),and the total score of occupation benefit was (111.39 ± 18.96).The level 1 nurses'professional identity and occupation benefit scores were higher than those in nurses of level 2 or 3 (P < 0.05).Conclusion The nurse's professional identity and occupation benefit are in the middle level,and professional identity and current occupation benefit of nurses at different levels are different.The targeted intervention measures should be taken to improve the levels of professional benefits and professional identity of nurses.
