A study on the application and effect of the communication standard theory model in improving self-care ability and quality of life among patients with cervical cancer

Abstract：Objective To explore the influence of communication standard theory model on self-care ability and quality of life among patients with cervical cancer.Methods Totally,82 cases of patients with cervical cancer were chosen and divided into the study group and the control group,with 41 cases in each group.While the control group received traditional nursing care,the study group introduced the communication standard theory model based on the control group,which included the cognitive interactive communication of patients'family members and emotional communication between nurses and patients.Results After intervention,the score of self-efficacy and quality of life,and nursing satisfaction of patients in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P ＜ 0.01 or P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion For the patients with cervical cancer,the application of communication standard theory model contributes to improve the self-care ability and quality of life,and it is worth to further popularize.
