Study on resilience and influencing factors of the main caregivers of stroke patient

Abstract：Objective To discuss the current status of resilience among the main caregivers of stroke patient,and analyze its influencing factors.Methods A total of 220 stroke patients’ family caregivers were investigated by general information questionnaires and Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale.Results The score of Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale was (69.96 ± 13.69),which at middle level.The gender and age of caregivers,caring time and caregiver strain were major factors affecting resilience among the main caregivers of stroke patient (P ＜ 0.01 or P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The current status of resilience among the main caregivers of stroke patient needs to be improved.Nursing staff should take targeted intervention measures for the main caregivers of stroke patient according to the influence factors,promote main caregivers active coping style,improve the main caregivers'resilience so as to take care of patients better,and improve the quality of life.
