Abstract：To summarize the current application of clean intermittent catheterization in patients with neurogenic bladder disease,which emphasized on the major complications and relevant nursing measures,and to put forward the future development direction,such as enhancing nurses'professional ability and tutoring skill,implementing individual clean intermittent catheterization,strengthening the health education,improving the discharge fellow-up,aim to provide theoretical basis for clinical nurses and patients to carry out clean intermittent catheterization in the future.
