Study on the correlation between clinical practice environment and professional self-concept among junior college nursing students

Abstract：Objective To investigate the status of clinical practice environment and professional self-concept among junior college nursing students,and to explore the correlation between them.Mehhod Totally,214 junior college nursing students were investigated by general questionnaire,nursing clinical learning environment scale and professional self-concept of nurses instrument.Result The total score of nursing clinical learning environment among junior college nursing students was (118.08 ± 17.27),which was in a satisfactory level.The total average score of professional self-concept of nurses instrument was (13.23 ± 1.61),which was in a positive level.Clinical practice among nursing college students environment and professional self-concept were positively correlated (P ＜ 0.01 or P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Clinical practice environment has a positive prediction function on professional self-concept,enhance the objective clinical practice environment to improve the professional self-concept among junior college nursing students.
