Correlation between clinical practice environment and career decision making self-efficacy among nursing undergraduates

Abstract：Objective To investigate the current status of clinical practice environment and career decision making self-efficacy among nursing undergraduates,and explore the correlation between them.Methods Totally,306 nursing undergraduates were investigated by nursing undergraduates'general information questionnaire,clinical practice environment scale and career decision making self-efficacy questionnaire.Results The total score of clinical practice environment was (119.33 ± 20.80),and the average score of career decision making self-efficacy was (3.72 ± 0.46).Clinical practice environment had a negative correlation with career decision making self-efficacy(P ＜ 0.05).Teaching methods,working atmosphere,organizational support dimensions can effect the career decision-making self-efficacy among nursing undergraduates.Conclusion Creating a supportive clinical practice environment for nursing undergraduates can promote their career decision making self-efficacy.
