Correlation of nursing work environment and work-family conflict among nurses in operating room

Abstract：Objective To investigate the status of nursing work environment and work-family conflict among operating room nurses,and analyze the relationship between them.Methods All of 200 operating room nurses were investigated by the Practice Environment Scale of the Nursing Work Index and work-family conflict scale.Results The average score of the Practice Environment Scale of the Nursing Work Index and work-family conflict among operating room nurses were separately (3.05 ± 0.46) and (3.15 ± 0.48).There were negative correlations between nursing working environment and work-family conflict among operating room nurses (P ＜ 0.01 or P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Nursing managers should pay attention to developing the good working environment,improving the recognition of working environment among operating room nurses,thus to relieve their work-family conflict.
