Rehabilitation effect of systematic health education on children with brain palsy

Abstract：Objective To explore the rehabilitation effect of systematic health education on children with brain palsy.Methods A total of 120 children with brain palsy from January to June in 2016 were selected as the experimental group,and 118 cases from June to December in 2015 were selected as the control group.Children in control group accepted traditional health education,children in the experimental group received the systematic health education of pre-hospital,in the hospital and post-discharge.All children in the two groups finished Compliance of Rehabilitation(COR),Gross Motor Function(GMF),and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) in admission,discharge and 6 months after discharge.Results Time effect of COR,GMF and ADL in the two groups were different significantly (P ＜ 0.05).There was an interactive effect in time factors (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Systematic health education is helpful to improve COR,activities of daily living and GMF continuouly,which has more advantages than traditional health education,which is worth popularization and application in the cerebral palsy rehabilitation in children.
