The psychological and physiological efficacy of family assistance intervention on patients with spinal cord injury

Abstract：Objective To investigate the efficacy of family assistance intervention on psychological and physiological health of patients with spinal cord injury.Methods Totally,164 spinal cord injury patients were collected according to admission time,randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,the control group received routine care,the observation group received a series of family assistance intervention based on normal care.Results The spinal cord independent function score and life quality score of observation group were higher than the control group (P ＜ 0.01),while the anxietys score,depression score and occurrence incidence of complications were less than control group (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Family assistance interventions can effectively promote the rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injury,improve the quality of life,and worthy of clinical application.
