The burden situation and influencing factors of caregivers among gynecological cancer patients at chemotherapy period

Abstract：Objective To investigate the burden status of caregiver among gynecological cancer patients during chemotherapy and discussing its influencing factors.Methods Totally,168 caregivers of gynecological cancer patients at chemotherapy period were investigated with Caregivers Burden Inventory.Results The caregiver burden overall score was (52.79 ± 11.05),which was in a moderate level.From high to low by ranging dimension scores were time dependent burden,development-limited burden,body burden,social contact burden,emotion burden.Multi-variant analysis showed that caregiver gender,relationship with the patient,time of day care,suffering from chronic disease,course of disease were the main factors of caregivers.Conclusion During chemotherapy for gynecological cancer patients,the caregiver burden was in a moderate level,we should take synthesized nursing measures to reduce caregivers'burden levels,continue to improve caregivers'and patients'qualities of life.
